Overview
In order to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Peter Yates film Bullitt, Ford introduced a short run of the Mustang Bullitt for the 2019 and 2020 model years. Like the car in the film, the Mustang Bullitt was finished in Dark Highland Green, but was also available in black, a departure from the last time Ford offered a Bullitt trim level. It separated itself from the Mustang GT with unique instrument panel graphics, dashboard stitching, seat pattern and unique seats sourced from Recaro. The engine essentially mirrored the specs of the Mach 1, with 480hp, but there was only a lone transmission, the six-speed manual.
