For 2019, the Pacifica also benefited from the earlier addition of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while the standard gasoline version continued to offer the brand’s useful Stow ’n Go second-row seats, a feature that gives owners either extra storage or a flat load floor.
What makes the 2019 Pacifica especially appealing is how much everyday convenience it packs in. The standard model offered seven-passenger seating, a five-inch touchscreen with Uconnect, Bluetooth, USB and an auxiliary input, plus features such as a rear-view camera, heated mirrors, remote locks, push-button ignition, and three-zone climate control. Higher trims added comforts and safety equipment like leather seating surfaces, heated front seats, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and, on upper versions, an upgraded 8.4-inch touchscreen and a second-row rear-seat entertainment system. The Pacifica Hybrid was also available, but it did not get Stow ’n Go seating because of its battery placement under the floor.
There are tradeoffs, though. The hybrid’s storage flexibility is reduced, and all-wheel drive was not available with the plug-in hybrid powertrain. Interior materials can also feel cheap, according to the source. Even so, the 2019 Chrysler Pacifica remains distinctive because it combines minivan utility, strong family-friendly packaging, and a more polished presentation than many rivals in the class.
