How much does the 2019 Cadillac Escalade cost?

Prices have softened 10.70% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,008 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2019 Cadillac Escalade a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Cadillac Escalade earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its luxury, comfort, and powerful performance, and they also highlight its safety features and smooth ride. For you, that means it fits especially well if you want a full-size luxury SUV with a roomy, upscale feel and a long feature list. With 37.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful shopping opportunity if you compare carefully.

Is the 2019 Cadillac Escalade reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable-feeling ownership experience for many drivers, with praise centered on comfort, performance, and the ability to count on the vehicle’s upscale character over time. At the same time, some owners report serious reliability issues, so you should treat condition and maintenance history as especially important on the used market. For long-term ownership, that means the right example can be rewarding, but a neglected one could carry more risk than you want.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Cadillac Escalade?

At 66.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. Put inspection priority on body condition, panel alignment, and signs of past collision work, then make sure the mechanical and electronic features operate as expected. Because this is a large luxury SUV, you should also pay close attention to wear items and overall maintenance quality before you commit.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Cadillac Escalade?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without feeling rushed, but the best listings still deserve quick action.

• Deal availability: 37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,008 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.70% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 66.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $29,830, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Cadillac Escalade's resale value?

The current average of $29,830 sits slightly below last year's $33,405.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more affordably now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you can help protect your future resale position. Demand should remain supported by the Escalade’s luxury image and broad appeal among shoppers who want a large premium SUV.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Cadillac Escalade or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 66.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.70% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 is a strong choice if you want the Escalade’s traditional V8 character, luxury feel, and a market that currently offers some pricing relief. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby years to see whether a lower-priced example better fits your budget, but the 2019 remains a compelling pick when condition and history check out.
