How much does the 2019 Cadillac Escalade cost?

Prices have softened 10.75% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,010 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2019 Cadillac Escalade a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Cadillac Escalade earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its luxury, comfort, and powerful performance, and many also highlight its safety features and smooth ride. That fits well if you want a full-size luxury SUV with a spacious, upscale cabin and strong presence. With 36.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful chance to find a competitive offer.

Is the 2019 Cadillac Escalade reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback also points to reliability concerns, even as many drivers describe the Escalade as comfortable and dependable in daily use. That means you should treat condition and maintenance history as especially important if you want to reduce long-term ownership risk.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Cadillac Escalade?

At 66.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from those with prior damage. Then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially for signs of bodywork, uneven wear, or deferred maintenance. Focus on overall condition and documentation, since this model’s luxury features and size make repairs and upkeep more consequential.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Cadillac Escalade?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 36.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,010 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.75% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 66.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $30,046, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Cadillac Escalade's resale value?

The current average of $30,046 sits slightly below last year's $33,665.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can limit how much value you recover if you sell soon after buying. If you plan to own it for a while, the softer entry price may help offset some depreciation pressure. Strong demand for well-kept examples should still support resale better than a weaker-rated luxury SUV.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Cadillac Escalade or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 36.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 66.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.75% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2019 if you want the strongest mix of current value, owner satisfaction, and available inventory. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby older year may be worth considering, but you should expect to trade off some of the 2019’s market appeal and shopper confidence.
