Used 2019 Cadillac Escalade ESV for Sale near California

How much does the 2019 Cadillac Escalade ESV cost?

Prices have softened 8.27% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 592 listings available, which suggests a meaningful amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2019 Cadillac Escalade ESV a good car?

Yes — the 4.5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction for this model year. The 2019 Cadillac Escalade ESV is built around space, power, and a distinctly upscale presence, with seating for eight, generous cargo room, and a power-operated third row that makes folding seats easier. It also brings a 6.2L V8 with 420 horsepower, plus a long list of comfort and convenience features that fit its premium positioning. 31.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Cadillac Escalade ESV reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The overview also points to a vehicle that delivers the kind of robust V8 performance and premium equipment buyers expect from a large luxury SUV. At the same time, the eight-speed automatic transmission has a troublesome reputation, so used buyers should pay close attention to service history and how the drivetrain behaves on a test drive.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Cadillac Escalade ESV?

At 60.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report and prioritize any signs of prior collision repair, especially on a large luxury SUV where bodywork and alignment issues can be costly. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on the transmission, suspension, electronics, and the operation of the power third row. You should also pay close attention to overall condition, since premium features can be expensive to restore if they are worn or malfunctioning.

The current average of $28,116 sits slightly below last year's $30,651.

That decline suggests the market has become a bit more favorable for buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price carefully to stay competitive. Condition and maintenance history will matter a lot if you want to protect value when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Cadillac Escalade ESV or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 31.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 60.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.27% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2019 if you want the strongest mix of current pricing, inventory choice, and owner satisfaction in this range. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2019 remains a solid primary target when you want a large luxury SUV with strong V8 power and a premium feature set.
