First introduced in 2011 and refreshed in 2017, the Mulsanne is Bentley’s flagship sedan. For 2019, Bentley celebrates the company’s 100th anniversary with the W.O. Edition. Designed by Mulliner, an exclusive coachbuilder, this edition will have just 100 examples built. The Mulsanne competes with other luxe vehicles like the Rolls-Royce Ghost and Phantom.

The Mulsanne has a commanding visual presence thanks to its massive size and sophisticated design. The Mulsanne comes with a powertrain composed of a twin-turbocharged 6.75-liter 8-cylinder engine, an 8-speed automatic transmission, and rear-wheel drive (RWD). It’s good for 505 horsepower, 752 pound-feet of torque, and a top speed of 184 miles per hour. An air suspension system with customizable settings ensures a smooth ride. For more power, consider the Speed trim, which boasts 530 hp, 811 lb-ft, and a top speed of 190 mph. The base engine delivers fuel-economy ratings of 10 mpg city, 16 highway, and 12 combined.

The Mulsanne’s 2-row, high-class cabin enables five occupants to stretch out in style. For even more personal space, consider swapping out the rear bench for bucket seats, which reduces seating to four but makes the experience feel much more exclusive. Shoppers can customize the interior in terms of upholstery color combinations, wood trim, and metal accents. The Mulsanne Speed and W.O. Editions get their own exclusive upholstery and trim options.

A fully modern infotainment system sits nestled amongst the Mulsanne’s old-world glamour, housed in a 8.1-inch display. The Bentley Mulsanne has not been crash tested by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) or Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), which is typical of vehicles in this category. A reversing camera and blind-spot monitoring come standard, and radar cruise control is optional.
