Should I buy a 2019 Audi Q5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 38.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 71.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.71% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.89/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $15,571, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $17,660 average.
• It brings a redesigned package with more room and sophistication.

The bottom line: Choose the 2019 if you want the stronger current-market balance of price, owner satisfaction, and deal availability. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2018 is the better value play, especially if you find one in excellent condition.
