Is the 2019 Audi A4 a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Audi A4 earns a 4.6/5 user rating, which points to strong overall satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its driving experience, handling, safety, luxurious interior features, advanced technology, and sound system. For you, that means it fits especially well if you want a compact luxury sedan with a polished feel and everyday usability. With 37.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is also a meaningful amount of market value to consider.

Is the 2019 Audi A4 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Drivers’ feedback highlights dependable ownership impressions through praise for the car’s driving experience, safety, handling, and luxurious interior features. The same feedback also points to concerns about high-tech features potentially leading to expensive repairs in the future, so you should weigh the appeal of the cabin and technology against possible long-term repair exposure.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Audi A4?

At 59.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially for the electronics and high-tech features that owners worry could become costly later. It also makes sense to focus on overall condition, since storage-space complaints and repair concerns can matter more on a used luxury sedan than on a basic commuter car.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Audi A4?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting a deep bargain on every listing.

• Deal availability: 37.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

If you find a listing below $16,962, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Audi A4's resale value?

The current average of $16,962 sits slightly below last year's $19,230.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, that also means resale value may depend more on condition, mileage, and equipment than on broad market momentum alone. Well-kept examples should still attract interest because shoppers in this segment often respond to a premium badge, strong technology, and a refined driving experience.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Audi A4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 37.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 59.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.79% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 is a strong choice if you want a well-rounded luxury sedan with solid owner satisfaction and a softer price than last year. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby model years and focus on the cleanest, best-maintained example rather than chasing the newest badge alone.
