Is the 2019 Audi A4 a good car?

Yes — the 4.6/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise the driving experience, handling, safety, and luxurious interior features, and many also appreciate the advanced technology and sound system. For you, that makes the A4 a strong fit if you want a compact luxury sedan with a premium cabin and a polished, well-rounded feel. With 34.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2019 Audi A4 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Drivers describe the car as dependable in everyday use, and the feedback also points to a trouble-free ownership experience for many buyers. At the same time, some owners worry that the high-tech features could lead to expensive repairs down the road, so long-term ownership risk is worth weighing if you plan to keep the car for years.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Audi A4?

At 61.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can confirm accident records, title status, and service history before you go any further. After that, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has advanced tech features or signs of heavy use. Focus on overall condition, electronics, and maintenance consistency, since those areas matter most when you want to avoid expensive surprises.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Audi A4?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay disciplined.

• Deal availability: 34.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.19% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $17,635, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Audi A4's resale value?

The current average of $17,636 sits slightly below last year's $19,209.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make resale timing more important if you plan to sell later. If you buy at a favorable price now and keep the car in strong condition, you may be better positioned to limit depreciation losses. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Audi A4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 34.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 61.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.19% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of value, owner satisfaction, and current market opportunity, the 2019 is a sensible primary choice. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a lower entry price outweighs the 2019’s stronger market position and broad appeal.
