Used 2018 Nissan Frontier for Sale nearMesa, AZ

How much does the 2018 Nissan Frontier cost?

Prices have softened 2.93% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,005 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2018 Nissan Frontier a good car?

Yes — the 2018 Nissan Frontier earns a 4.63/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its strong performance, reliability, handling, comfort, and overall value. That lines up well with its use-case as a budget-friendly pickup that still feels capable for work and off-road use, especially if you want a straightforward truck rather than a highly polished one. With 31.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2018 Nissan Frontier reliable?

Owners rate it 4.63/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also emphasizes reliability, dependability, and a truck that feels trouble-free enough for everyday use. That kind of reputation matters if you plan to keep the truck for the long haul, because it suggests the Frontier can be a sensible ownership choice when maintained properly. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the model’s basic durability and more about finding one that has been cared for consistently.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Nissan Frontier?

At 58.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from trucks with accident records or repeated claims. After that, prioritize a thorough inspection of the body, frame, suspension, and interior condition, since those areas can reveal how hard the truck was used. Because this model is often bought for work or utility, focus on signs of wear that could point to heavy use rather than just mileage alone.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Nissan Frontier?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy if you shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 31.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,005 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.93% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 58.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $16,729, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Nissan Frontier's resale value?

The current average of $17,260 sits slightly below last year's $17,782.

That softer pricing suggests the truck is holding value reasonably well, but not aggressively appreciating. If you buy at the right price, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation later because the market has already adjusted downward. The Frontier’s value proposition is strongest when you purchase a clean, well-kept example rather than paying a premium for average condition.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.63/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Nissan Frontier or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 31.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 58.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.93% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.63/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2018 Frontier makes the most sense if you want a value-focused midsize pickup with proven owner approval and you’re willing to shop carefully for condition. If your priority is the lowest possible purchase price, a nearby older year may be worth considering, but the 2018 is the better pick if you want a balance of affordability, strong satisfaction, and a still-reasonable market price.
