Used 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLE for Sale nearFort Lauderdale, FL

How much does the 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLE cost?

Prices have softened 10.39% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,084 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLE a good car?

Yes — the 4.7/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the luxury features, comfort, cool features, and reliable engineering, and they also call out the strong engine performance and impressive sound system. For you, that means this model fits best if you want a premium SUV with a quiet, spacious cabin and a comfort-first personality rather than a sporty, hard-edged feel. With 36.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a compelling price if you shop carefully.

Is the 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLE reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to reliable engineering, and buyers repeatedly describe the GLE as dependable and worth the money for the experience. At the same time, some owners mention electronic issues, so you should treat a thorough pre-purchase inspection as part of the process. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that unresolved electrical or suspension problems can turn a good luxury SUV into an expensive one.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

At 62.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with accident records. After that, prioritize a careful inspection of the electronics and suspension, since those are the areas most worth scrutinizing on this model. Focus on overall condition and maintenance evidence, because a well-kept example is the one most likely to deliver the ownership experience you want.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting a deep buyer’s-market discount on every listing.

• Deal availability: 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,084 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.39% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 62.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $19,556, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLE's resale value?

The current average of $19,570 sits slightly below last year's $21,840.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also limit near-term upside if you plan to resell soon. If you keep the vehicle in strong condition and maintain it well, you can help protect value against further softening. The strongest resale candidates will be the cleanest, best-documented examples with the most desirable equipment and the fewest condition concerns.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLE or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 62.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.39% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2018 if you want a comfortable, upscale GLE with strong owner approval and a softer price than last year. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and shop for the cleanest, best-documented example rather than focusing only on the badge year.
