Used 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLE for Sale nearFort Lauderdale, FL

How much does the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLE cost?

Prices have softened 10.45% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,195 listings available, which suggests you have a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLE a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLE earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.67/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Performance, Form and function, Technology, and Safety.

The GLE stands out as a midsize luxury SUV that blends prestige, performance, and practicality. It also brings a high-quality cabin and top-rate technology, and it pairs impeccable ride quality with agile handling, so you get comfort without losing responsiveness.

One trade-off is that options can quickly push the price upward. Another is that AMG models are thirsty and expensive, so the most desirable versions may also be the costliest to own.

With 37.2% of listings priced as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLE reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The GLE’s polished cabin and broad appeal point to a vehicle that’s built to satisfy over time, especially if you value comfort and upscale execution. Its available plug-in hybrid setup is described as adapting easily to all sorts of driving situations, which adds to its everyday usefulness.

The hybrid’s regenerative braking brings only modest range gains, so long-term ownership may be less compelling if you expect major efficiency benefits from the plug-in setup.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on any candidate and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on higher-spec or option-heavy examples. Focus on overall condition, because luxury features and advanced systems can be expensive to sort out if they’ve been neglected.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The cabin quality is a major draw, but the base setup can leave you wanting if you expect the richest materials and most upscale presentation.
• Powertrain: The available plug-in hybrid setup adapts easily to different driving situations, though its regenerative braking brings only modest range gains.
• Safety package: The Driver Assistance package adds active blind-spot assist, active lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability, traffic sign recognition, and evasive steering assist.
• Infotainment: A pair of 12.3-inch screens anchors the system, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard.
• Fuel efficiency: The plug-in hybrid setup is described as a strong fit for short trips, but no official electric-only range or city/highway fuel economy figures are stated.

Which 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLE trim should I buy?

The 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLE is offered in 5 trim levels: GLE 350, GLE 450, GLE 450e, GLE 580, AMG GLE 53, AMG GLE 63 S.

Here's the short version:

• GLE 350: This is the value-oriented starting point if you want the Mercedes badge and the core luxury-SUV experience without chasing the pricier powertrains.
• GLE 450: This is the sensible step up if you want more performance and a broader sweet spot without jumping all the way to the plug-in hybrid or AMG models.
• GLE 450e: This is the best-value trim if you want the strongest balance of acceleration, suspension tuning, handling, and fuel economy.
• GLE 580: Choose this if you want a stronger engine and are willing to pay more for extra performance.
• AMG GLE 53: This suits buyers who want a more performance-focused setup and are prepared for higher running costs.
• AMG GLE 63 S: This is the top performance choice, but it is likely overkill for most shoppers and comes with the highest ownership burden.

The Driver Assistance package is a worthwhile safety add-on if you want the most complete feature set.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

This looks like a moderate buyer’s market, so you can shop selectively without expecting a fire-sale environment.

• Deal availability: 37.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,195 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.45% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $49,100, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLE's resale value?

The current average of $49,100 sits slightly below last year's $54,828.

That price decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. For a future seller, that also means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on trim, condition, and equipment rather than just the badge alone.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLE safe?

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

The GLE comes with a comprehensive lineup of active safety features, including blind-spot monitoring, automatic emergency braking, rear cross-traffic alert, pedestrian detection, hands-free park assist, rain-sensing wipers, automatic high-beam headlights, and a driver attention monitor.

The optional Driver Assistance package adds active blind-spot assist, active lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability, traffic sign recognition, and evasive steering assist. That package is a strong upgrade if you want the most complete safety setup.

Should I buy a 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLE or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 37.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.45% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It blends prestige, performance, practicality, and a high-quality cabin with top-rate technology.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $40,221, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $49,100 average.
• It leans hard into style with a distinctive low-roofed SUV-coupe design.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $56,859, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $49,100 average.
• It adds a facelift, upgraded infotainment, and a new plug-in hybrid powertrain.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, features, and broad appeal, the 2023 is the smart default. If your budget is tighter, the 2022 can save you money, while the 2024 makes sense if you want the newer updates and are willing to pay more.
