How much does the 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLA cost?

Prices have softened 10.15% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 603 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLA a good car?

Yes — the 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLA earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its technology, safety, and comfort, and many also like its smooth performance and luxurious feel without a big price tag. For you, that makes it a good fit if you want a compact luxury crossover with a premium badge and everyday usability, especially if you value features over maximum space. 35.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so there are still attractive opportunities in the market.

Is the 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLA reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a dependable ownership experience centered on comfort, technology, and smooth performance. That kind of response suggests the model can be a reassuring choice if you want a used luxury crossover you can count on for daily driving. For long-term ownership, your biggest risk is less about the overall reputation and more about buying a poorly maintained example, so condition and service history matter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLA?

At 59.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. Put inspection priority on body panels, alignment, and signs of uneven wear, then make sure the cabin, electronics, and visibility all meet your expectations. Because this model is compact, you should also focus on whether the interior space and cargo room work for your daily needs before you commit.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLA?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 35.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 603 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.15% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 59.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $14,501, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLA's resale value?

The current average of $14,501 sits slightly below last year's $16,140.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy at a better entry point today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on how well the vehicle is maintained and how clean its history is. If you buy carefully and keep the car in strong condition, you give yourself a better chance of recovering more value later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLA or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 35.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 59.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.15% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

The 2018 is the better primary choice if you want the refreshed look, standard rear-view camera, and a market that has moved in your favor on price. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2018 stands out as the more balanced pick when you want updated features and strong owner approval without paying peak pricing.
