Used 2018 Lexus NX for Sale near Connecticut

How much does the 2018 Lexus NX cost?

Prices have softened 3.68% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 733 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2018 Lexus NX a good car?

Yes — the 4.71/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its stylish, luxurious feel, good road handling, and gas economy, while the model’s distinctive design helps it stand out in the compact luxury crossover segment. For you, that means it fits especially well if you want a premium-feeling SUV with a strong mix of style and efficiency. With 35.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, there’s also a meaningful share of inventory worth a closer look.

Is the 2018 Lexus NX reliable?

Owners rate it 4.71/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with drivers highlighting the NX’s strong reliability reputation and the kind of long-term confidence that matters in a used luxury SUV. That said, you should still expect normal used-car wear and verify maintenance history carefully, because even a well-regarded model can carry ownership risk if it has been neglected.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Lexus NX?

At 56.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can confirm accident records, title status, and service history before you get too far into the process. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing price looks unusually attractive. Focus on overall condition, signs of prior bodywork, and whether the vehicle has been maintained consistently, since those details matter more when a sizable portion of the market has prior damage history.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Lexus NX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy without waiting forever.

• Deal availability: 35.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 733 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.68% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 56.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $21,033, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Lexus NX's resale value?

The current average of $21,624 sits slightly below last year's $22,451.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the softer pricing trend means you should pay close attention to purchase price and condition, because those factors will matter more when it’s time to trade in or list the vehicle privately. Strong demand for well-kept examples should still support value better than average, especially if the vehicle has a clean history and desirable equipment.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.71/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Lexus NX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 35.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 56.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.68% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.71/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2018 is the right pick if you want the updated look, improved equipment, and strong owner satisfaction that make this NX feel like a well-rounded used luxury crossover. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the cleanest, best-maintained example rather than chasing the lowest sticker price alone.
