Used 2018 Land Rover Range Rover Sport for Sale nearNewburgh, NY

How much does the 2018 Land Rover Range Rover Sport cost?

Prices have softened 14.72% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 961 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of used examples to compare.

Is the 2018 Land Rover Range Rover Sport a good car?

Generally — the 4.3/5 user rating points to a model that many shoppers find appealing, especially if you want a luxury SUV with serious off-road hardware and a more driver-focused character than many midsize SUVs. The overview also highlights its lighter aluminum construction, which improved handling, ride quality, acceleration, and interior space, along with an optional third row for added practicality. At the same time, it is positioned as an expensive vehicle by class standards, so its appeal is strongest if you value premium feel and capability over bargain ownership.

35.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2018 Land Rover Range Rover Sport reliable?

Owners rate it 4.3/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview points to poor reliability, poor fuel economy, and expensive maintenance as key drawbacks, so you should expect ownership to be more demanding than many rivals. That means condition and service history matter a lot more than they would on a simpler used SUV.

For used buyers, the long-term risk is that repair and upkeep costs can outweigh the appeal of the vehicle if you do not start with a well-maintained example.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Land Rover Range Rover Sport?

At 72.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection from a shop that knows luxury SUVs and four-wheel-drive systems. Focus on overall condition, maintenance records, and signs of deferred upkeep, since those factors matter more here than a simple mileage check.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Land Rover Range Rover Sport?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you know what you want.

• Deal availability: 35.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 961 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.72% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 72.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,600, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Land Rover Range Rover Sport's resale value?

The current average of $22,600 sits slightly below last year's $26,499.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today but may limit how much value you recover later. If you plan to resell, condition and maintenance history will matter a lot because they help separate stronger examples from the rest of the market. A well-kept vehicle should hold up better than one with visible wear or incomplete records.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.3/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Land Rover Range Rover Sport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 35.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 72.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.72% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.3/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should buy the 2018 if you want the refreshed styling, improved packaging, and a used price that has moved down meaningfully from last year. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2018 is the better fit when you want a more current version of the Range Rover Sport experience without paying new-model money.
