Used 2017 Land Rover Range Rover Sport for Sale nearNewburgh, NY

How much does the 2017 Land Rover Range Rover Sport cost?

Prices have softened 14.61% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 984 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2017 Land Rover Range Rover Sport a good car?

Yes — the 2017 Land Rover Range Rover Sport earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners most often praise its luxurious features, smooth drive, attractive interior, performance, and off-road capability. That lines up well if you want a used luxury SUV that feels upscale and capable in harsh conditions, while the 35.7% good-or-great deal share suggests there are still worthwhile listings to shop.

Is the 2017 Land Rover Range Rover Sport reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback also points to reliability concerns alongside praise for its dependable feel in daily use and its ability to handle long-term ownership expectations better than some shoppers might assume. Even so, this is still a used luxury SUV where maintenance history matters, so you should expect higher ownership risk than with simpler mainstream alternatives.

What should I look for when buying a used 2017 Land Rover Range Rover Sport?

At 68.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report on any promising listing and confirm whether prior damage was cosmetic or structural. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on signs of deferred maintenance, uneven wear, and any issues tied to the SUV’s luxury electronics or drivetrain behavior. If a vehicle looks especially clean, make sure the condition matches the paperwork and service records before you commit.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Land Rover Range Rover Sport?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you know what you want.

• Deal availability: 35.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 984 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.61% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 68.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $17,731, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Land Rover Range Rover Sport's resale value?

The current average of $17,828 sits slightly below last year's $20,878.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle well documented, you can reduce the impact of future depreciation. Strong condition and a clean history matter more here because shoppers in this segment tend to be selective.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Land Rover Range Rover Sport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 35.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 68.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.61% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should focus on the 2017 if you want the updated infotainment and safety equipment, plus a market that currently offers softer pricing than a year ago. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2017 remains the better pick when you want the strongest mix of features, owner satisfaction, and current value.
