How much does the 2018 Land Rover Range Rover cost?

Is the 2018 Land Rover Range Rover a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction, and the 2018 Range Rover’s appeal comes from its blend of luxury, comfort, and go-anywhere capability. It offers a beautifully made cabin, upscale features like massaging seats and rear passenger screens, and the flexibility of standard or long-wheelbase body styles with seating for four, five, or seven. It also brings serious equipment for both comfort and driving confidence, including adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and a surround-view camera. 36.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2018 Land Rover Range Rover reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2018 Range Rover is described as a complex vehicle with troublesome electrical and air suspension systems, along with high maintenance costs. That means you should expect ownership to be more demanding than a typical used SUV, especially if the vehicle has incomplete service records or deferred maintenance.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Land Rover Range Rover?

At 73.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a full vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. Put inspection priority on electrical systems, suspension behavior, and signs of expensive wear, since those areas matter most on a complex luxury SUV like this. Focus on overall condition and maintenance evidence, because a well-kept example is likely to be a much safer buy than one with gaps in its history.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Land Rover Range Rover?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find opportunities.

• Deal availability: 36.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 870 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.47% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 73.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $27,372, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Land Rover Range Rover's resale value?

The current average of $27,375 sits slightly below last year's $31,638.

That price decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and service history rather than just the badge alone. Well-kept examples should hold up better than neglected ones because buyers in this segment tend to be cautious about maintenance risk.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Land Rover Range Rover or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 36.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 73.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.47% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

Buy the 2018 if you want the strongest mix of luxury, capability, and current market value, especially if you can verify a clean history and solid maintenance. If you’re more price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the best-documented example rather than the newest badge.
