How much does the 2018 Honda Ridgeline cost?

There are 1,002 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing prices and conditions.

Is the 2018 Honda Ridgeline a good car?

Yes — the 2018 Honda Ridgeline earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction.

Owners consistently praise its comfort, spacious interior, and value for money, and many also like the modern tech and useful bed features. The market also shows 33.9% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2018 Honda Ridgeline reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback emphasizes comfort, value, and a smooth, powerful ride, while also describing the truck as practical and easy to live with over time. That kind of feedback suggests you can count on it for everyday use if the specific example has been maintained well.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the model’s concept and more about finding one with clean history and consistent upkeep.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Honda Ridgeline?

At 66.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. Then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can check for signs of uneven wear, poor repairs, or neglected maintenance. Focus on overall condition, because a clean, well-kept example is likely to be the better long-term buy.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Honda Ridgeline?

This looks like a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 33.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

If you find a listing below $20,179, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Honda Ridgeline's resale value?

The current average of $20,179 sits slightly below last year's $22,332.

That price movement suggests the market has softened, which can help you as a buyer now but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at a strong price and keep the truck in good condition, you can reduce the impact of that depreciation. Demand should remain supported by the Ridgeline’s comfort-focused appeal and practical features.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Honda Ridgeline or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 33.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 66.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.64% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2017 if:

• At $18,444, the 2017 costs less than the current year's $20,179 average.
• The 2017 emphasizes a carlike ride and practical utility.

The 2018 is the better path if you want the stronger current-market balance of price, satisfaction, and inventory. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2017 can make sense as a lower-cost alternative, especially if you find one in excellent condition.
