There are 993 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and conditions.

Is the 2018 Honda Ridgeline a good car?

Yes — the 4.8/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its comfort, features, and value for money, and many also like the spacious interior and modern tech. That fits especially well if you want truck utility with a smoother, more car-like driving experience and practical everyday versatility. With 32.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful chance to find a competitive offer.

Is the 2018 Honda Ridgeline reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with comfort and value showing up as recurring strengths. That kind of response suggests you can reasonably count on it for long-term use if the individual vehicle has been maintained well. For used buyers, the main ownership risk is less about the model’s reputation and more about how well a specific truck has been cared for over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Honda Ridgeline?

At 67.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from trucks with prior damage. Then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially for body condition, panel alignment, and signs of past repairs. Because this model is valued for comfort and practicality, you should also focus on interior condition, feature operation, and overall wear that could affect daily use.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Honda Ridgeline?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy if you’re patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 993 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.77% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 67.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $20,356, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Honda Ridgeline's resale value?

The current average of $20,440 sits slightly below last year's $22,654.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. If you’re thinking about future value, the softer pricing means your purchase price matters more, because a lower entry point can help protect your eventual return. Strong condition and a clean history will matter even more when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Honda Ridgeline or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 67.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.77% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2017 if:

• At $18,860, the 2017 costs less than the current year's $20,440 average.
• It emphasizes the Ridgeline’s distinctive carlike pickup character.

The bottom line: the 2018 is the better all-around pick if you want stronger market support, solid owner satisfaction, and a good chance of finding a fair deal. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2017 is the more price-sensitive path and still delivers the Ridgeline’s core appeal.
