Why it stands out
The 2018 GMC Canyon distinguishes itself in the midsize pickup segment with a blend of luxury and utility. With various trim levels available, including more luxurious options compared to its siblings like the Chevrolet Colorado, the Canyon appeals to buyers who prioritize comfort alongside performance. Notably, its extended bed option and capable engine provide versatile usage, whether for daily commuting or tackling serious work tasks. Owners have praised its aesthetic appeal and overall driving experience, making it a strong contender for those seeking a practical yet stylish vehicle. However, potential buyers should be mindful of the reported transmission concerns and pricing, especially for the higher-end Denali trim.

While not having a lot to compare it to, it appears so far to be a strong running engine (2.8 Duramax) . The seating seams hard in contrast to my last truck (2500 HD ) , both being Denali versions with leather seats . The fuel mileage is outstanding averaging low to mid 30s . The electronics package is full of creature comforts including heated and cooled seats . Overall a nice ride.

The Denali is over priced and I will continue to shop for a 2017-2019 Denali preferably with SLT as a second choice
