Used 2018 Chevrolet Trax for Sale nearFort Lauderdale, FL

How much does the 2018 Chevrolet Trax cost?

Prices have softened 10.17% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,360 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2018 Chevrolet Trax a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating suggests you may find this model year especially appealing if you want a small SUV that is easy to live with and relatively affordable. The overview points to a practical crossover formula with a higher seating position, useful space, and a feature set that includes a seven-inch touchscreen, OnStar, a wifi hotspot, and smartphone integration. It also highlights available all-wheel drive and the Driver Confidence package, which adds useful driver aids for shoppers who want more everyday convenience. 30.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2018 Chevrolet Trax reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview presents it as a practical, value-minded small SUV rather than a performance-focused one, with respectable fuel economy and safety results. For used buyers, that means your long-term ownership risk is more about finding a well-kept example than worrying about a vehicle built around a complicated or high-strung formula.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Chevrolet Trax?

At 61.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from those with past damage. After that, prioritize a thorough inspection of body panels, alignment, tires, and interior wear so you can judge whether any prior incident affected condition. Focus on overall maintenance and how the vehicle presents today, since that will matter most in daily use.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Chevrolet Trax?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find value.

• Deal availability: 30.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,360 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.17% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 61.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $9,789, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Chevrolet Trax's resale value?

The current average of $9,789 sits slightly below last year's $10,896.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make future resale more dependent on condition, mileage, and equipment. If you buy well and keep the vehicle clean, you may be better positioned than someone who pays near the top of the range. The current pricing also means your entry cost is lower than it was a year ago, which can help soften depreciation pressure over your ownership period.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Chevrolet Trax or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 30.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 61.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.17% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2017 if:

• At $9,031, the 2017 costs less than the current year's $9,789 average.
• It brings a fresh redesign and standard smartphone integration.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger current-market balance of price, inventory, and buyer interest, the 2018 is the better primary target. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2017 is the more price-sensitive path and still gives you a refreshed feature set.
