Used 2018 Chevrolet Colorado for Sale nearFort Worth, TX

How much does the 2018 Chevrolet Colorado cost?

Prices have softened 6.76% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,319 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of trucks to compare.

Is the 2018 Chevrolet Colorado a good car?

Yes — the 2018 Chevrolet Colorado earns a 4.5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners commonly praise its smooth ride, decent gas mileage, good power, towing capacity, compact size, and easy-to-drive feel compared with full-size trucks. For you, that means it fits especially well if you want a midsize pickup that balances everyday usability with real truck capability. With 33.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2018 Chevrolet Colorado reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback also points to a truck that many owners find dependable, with praise for its trouble-free feel in everyday use, smooth ride, and ability to handle long-term ownership needs with confidence. At the same time, some drivers mention mechanical concerns, so you should treat reliability as something to verify rather than assume.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure you avoid a truck with unresolved mechanical history or neglected maintenance.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Chevrolet Colorado?

At 64.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether the truck has any accident, title, or repair records that could affect value or durability. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on mechanical condition, since owner feedback and model-year context both point to the importance of checking for issues before you commit. Pay extra attention to how the truck drives, shifts, and feels under load so you can judge whether it has been maintained properly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Chevrolet Colorado?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay disciplined.

• Deal availability: 33.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,319 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.76% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 64.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $20,414, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Chevrolet Colorado's resale value?

The current average of $20,476 sits slightly below last year's $21,961.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. If you keep the truck in strong condition and avoid accident history, you should be in a better position to preserve value. Demand should remain supported by the model’s broad appeal as a practical midsize pickup.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Chevrolet Colorado or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 33.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 64.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.76% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2019 if:

• At $21,478, the 2019 costs more than the current year's $20,476 average.
• It adds a more straightforward, sensibly equipped approach with available diesel and ZR2 appeal.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2018 is the stronger starting point because it combines lower pricing with solid owner satisfaction. If you are willing to pay more for a newer model year and prefer its updated positioning, the 2019 is the secondary path for buyers who care less about price and more about stepping up a year.
