How much does the 2018 Chevrolet Camaro cost?

Prices are up 1.40% year-over-year — a sign of continued demand for this model year.

There are 1,383 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and trims.

Is the 2018 Chevrolet Camaro a good car?

Yes — the 4.9/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the Camaro’s stunning design, excellent performance, and great handling, and many also highlight the powerful engines and the driving experience. That makes it a strong fit if you want a compact, rear-wheel-drive performance car with coupe or convertible body styles and a wide spread of choices from everyday-friendly versions to more enthusiast-focused setups. With 27.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2018 Chevrolet Camaro reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a car that many drivers feel good about living with over time, especially when it comes to dependable performance and a trouble-free ownership experience. That said, used buyers should still focus on maintenance history and overall condition, since long-term ownership risk depends heavily on how the car was driven and cared for.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Chevrolet Camaro?

At 56.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. Then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-performance trim or a car with modifications. Pay close attention to body condition, panel alignment, tire wear, and signs of hard use, since those details can reveal how the car was treated.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Chevrolet Camaro?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the best-priced examples.

• Deal availability: 27.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,383 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 1.40% year-over-year.
• Clean inventory: 56.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $26,531, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Chevrolet Camaro's resale value?

The current average of $28,950 sits slightly above last year's $28,550.

That modest increase suggests the Camaro has held buyer interest well, which can help support resale value if you buy carefully and keep the car in strong condition. The price trend also shows that demand has remained steady enough to keep values from softening. If you choose a well-kept example with clean history, you’re more likely to preserve value when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Chevrolet Camaro or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 27.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 56.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices are up 1.40% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2017 if:

• At $23,457, the 2017 costs less than the current year's $28,950 average.
• It emphasizes a more traditional muscle-car personality with strong style and thrilling performance.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2018 if you want the stronger current-market balance of owner satisfaction, pricing transparency, and broad shopping inventory. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2017 is the better value path, especially if you’re comfortable giving up some of the 2018’s market freshness.
