Used 2018 BMW M3 for Sale nearNew York, NY

How much does the 2018 BMW M3 cost?

Prices are up 2.43% year-over-year — a sign of continued demand for this model year.

There are 168 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2018 BMW M3 a good car?

Yes — the 4.83/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its power, comfort, and refined interior, and many also like the smooth ride and numerous tech features. For you, that means the 2018 BMW M3 fits best if you want a high-performance sedan that still works as an everyday car, even if some shoppers prefer a sharper steering feel or more immediate handling response. With 33.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, there’s still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2018 BMW M3 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.83/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Reviewers describe the car as refined and enjoyable to live with, and the positive feedback around comfort and power suggests a car that many owners feel good about keeping. The same owner sentiment also points to a model that can feel dependable when it has been maintained properly and kept in good condition.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the concept of the car and more about how hard it has been driven and how well it has been cared for.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 BMW M3?

At 60.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can confirm accident records, title status, and ownership patterns. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has been modified, tracked, or driven aggressively. Focus on overall condition, maintenance documentation, and signs of cosmetic or mechanical wear that could affect long-term ownership costs.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 BMW M3?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 168 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 2.43% year-over-year.
• Clean inventory: 60.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $50,917, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 BMW M3's resale value?

The current average of $55,361 sits slightly above last year's $54,050.

That kind of price movement suggests the market still sees value in this model year, which can help support resale strength if you buy well and keep the car in good condition. Because demand appears steady rather than weak, a clean, well-documented example should be easier to position later when you decide to sell. Strong presentation and maintenance history matter here, especially in a performance sedan segment where buyers compare condition closely.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.83/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 BMW M3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 60.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices are up 2.43% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 4.83/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest blend of everyday usability, enthusiast appeal, and owner satisfaction, the 2018 is the one to target. If your priority is stretching your budget, a nearby year may give you more room to negotiate, but you should still focus on condition, history, and maintenance records before choosing a cheaper example.
