Used 2018 Audi A6 for Sale nearDurham, NC

How much does the 2018 Audi A6 cost?

Prices have softened 8.60% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 659 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2018 Audi A6 a good car?

Yes — the 2018 Audi A6 earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its interior design, powerful performance, and luxurious ride, and many also like its handling and feature content. For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a midsize luxury sedan with a premium cabin and confident everyday comfort. With 32.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still room to shop selectively.

Is the 2018 Audi A6 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback also points to a dependable ownership experience, with drivers describing the car as a luxurious ride they enjoy living with over time. The recurring praise for its performance and interior quality suggests you can count on it to feel substantial and refined as the miles add up.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the ownership experience and more about finding a well-kept example with a clean maintenance history.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Audi A6?

At 67.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can catch hidden bodywork, suspension, or electronics issues. Focus closely on overall condition, since a luxury sedan like this can be rewarding only if the previous owner maintained it carefully. Pay extra attention to signs of inconsistent repairs, worn interior components, and any warning lights or infotainment glitches during your test drive.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Audi A6?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 659 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.60% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 67.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $16,261, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Audi A6's resale value?

The current average of $16,261 sits slightly below last year's $17,792.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favorable entry point, but it also suggests the market has already adjusted downward. If you plan to resell later, your best protection is buying a clean, well-documented example so you start from a stronger position. A car that presents well and has a solid maintenance record should be easier to move when it is your turn to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Audi A6 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 67.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.60% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2019 if:

• At $21,347, the 2019 costs more than the current year's $16,261 average.
• It brings a redesigned cabin with a more advanced interface and updated driver-assistance tech.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2018 is the stronger starting point because it combines a lower average price with solid owner satisfaction. If you want the newer redesign and are willing to pay more, the 2019 is the better upgrade path. For price-sensitive buyers, the 2018 makes the most sense; for shoppers prioritizing the latest tech and a fresher design, move up a year.
