Used 2017 Porsche Cayenne for Sale near Ohio

How much does the 2017 Porsche Cayenne cost?

Prices have softened 14.87% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 570 listings available, which gives you a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2017 Porsche Cayenne a good car?

Yes — the 4.57/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its impressive handling, powerful performance, and upscale interior, and many appreciate how it combines sportiness with luxury. That makes it a strong fit if you want a luxury SUV that still feels performance-focused and polished in daily use. With 32.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive price.

Is the 2017 Porsche Cayenne reliable?

Owners rate it 4.57/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a vehicle that feels dependable in the ways that matter most to shoppers: strong performance, upscale construction, and a refined driving experience that many owners are happy to live with over time. The repeated praise for its sturdy feel and the way it holds up as a premium SUV suggests you can count on it for long-term ownership if it has been maintained properly. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the driving experience and more about the cost of keeping a premium SUV in good condition.

What should I look for when buying a used 2017 Porsche Cayenne?

At 67.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage or repeated claims. After that, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on suspension, ride quality, and signs of uneven wear, since condition can vary widely from one listing to another. Focus on maintenance records and overall cosmetic and mechanical condition so you can avoid paying premium money for a neglected example.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Porsche Cayenne?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find value if you compare listings closely.

• Deal availability: 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 570 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.87% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 67.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $19,693, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Porsche Cayenne's resale value?

The current average of $19,693 sits slightly below last year's $23,132.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer now but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at a strong price and keep the vehicle in excellent condition, you can reduce some of that depreciation pressure. A well-kept Cayenne with desirable ownership traits should still attract interest from shoppers who want a premium SUV with a strong driving character.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.57/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Porsche Cayenne or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 67.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.87% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.57/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the Cayenne with updated tech and strong owner approval, the 2017 is a solid primary choice. If your priority is stretching your budget, you should also compare nearby years and focus on the cleanest, best-maintained example rather than chasing the newest badge alone.
