How much does the 2017 Nissan 370Z cost?

There are 147 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2017 Nissan 370Z a good car?

Yes — the 2017 Nissan 370Z earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its thrilling performance, precise handling, and sporty design, and many also call out its strong value as an entry-level sports car. That makes it a good fit if you want a driver-focused coupe that prioritizes fun and style over everyday convenience. With 31.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2017 Nissan 370Z reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback also highlights reliability, with owners describing it as dependable and a car they can count on over time. That matters if you want a used sports car that can deliver enjoyment without feeling fragile or overly demanding. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the core mechanical appeal and more about finding a well-kept example that has been maintained consistently.

What should I look for when buying a used 2017 Nissan 370Z?

At 49.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with past damage. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially for signs of bodywork, uneven wear, or repairs that could affect long-term value. Because this car is bought for its driving feel, pay close attention to how the engine, transmission, and chassis condition match the seller’s description.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Nissan 370Z?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 31.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 147 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 49.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $20,841, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Nissan 370Z's resale value?

The current average of $23,075 sits slightly below last year's $23,291.

That small decline suggests the market has been fairly stable rather than sharply weakening. If you buy well and keep the car in good condition, you should have a reasonable chance of preserving value relative to other used performance cars. The limited inventory also helps support pricing, especially for cleaner examples with stronger documentation.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Nissan 370Z or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 31.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 49.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2017 is a smart choice if you want the classic 370Z formula at a stable price and you value owner satisfaction and driving enjoyment. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years for the best combination of condition, history, and asking price, but the 2017 remains a solid target when you find a clean example.
