Used 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLA for Sale near New York

How much does the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLA cost?

Prices have softened 14.52% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 470 listings available, which suggests you have a workable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLA a good car?

Yes — the 4.7/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction, and the 2017 GLA’s overview backs that up with a clear identity: it’s a small luxury crossover that emphasizes style, premium feel, and an accessible entry point into Mercedes-Benz ownership. You also get a compact footprint, available all-wheel drive, and smartphone integration that broaden its appeal if you want a premium badge without moving up to a larger SUV.

The tradeoff is practicality, since the cabin is small and cargo space is limited compared with larger crossovers. Still, if you value a sleek design and upscale feel more than maximum utility, it fits that use case well. 31.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLA reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview suggests a model that delivers a premium experience in a compact package, with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder, available all-wheel drive, and a technology update that added Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for 2017. That combination points to a used crossover that can be appealing if you want modern features and a luxury feel without stepping into a larger SUV.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about outright size and more about whether the vehicle has been maintained carefully enough to preserve its premium systems and drivability.

What should I look for when buying a used 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLA?

At 58.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially on bodywork, alignment, and signs of uneven wear that could point to past collision repairs. Because the GLA is compact and style-focused, condition matters a lot: you want to make sure the premium feel is backed by solid mechanical and cosmetic health.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLA?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 31.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 470 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.52% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 58.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $12,432, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLA's resale value?

The current average of $12,434 sits slightly below last year's $14,546.

That decline suggests the model has become more affordable for used buyers, but it also means future sellers may face a softer pricing environment than they would have a year ago. If you buy now, your resale outcome will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. A clean history and strong presentation matter more when the market is already pricing the model lower than before.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLA or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 31.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 58.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.52% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2017 if you want the updated tech and a lower average price than last year, especially if you value the GLA’s premium feel and compact footprint. If you’re especially price-sensitive, it also makes sense to compare nearby years and focus on the cleanest, best-maintained example rather than chasing the newest badge alone.
