Used 2017 Lexus LX for Sale nearDallas, TX

How much does the 2017 Lexus LX cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 105 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for shoppers comparing options.

Is the 2017 Lexus LX a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2017 Lexus LX stands out as a full-size body-on-frame SUV that blends serious off-road hardware with a luxury-focused driving experience, and it’s described as having smooth and quiet on-road manners. It also offers a high level of luxury, along with a strong history of standard safety features, so it fits you well if you want durability, comfort, and capability over efficiency and the latest infotainment features. With 35.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2017 Lexus LX reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2017 Lexus LX has a strong reputation for reliability, and its go-anywhere character is backed by full-time four-wheel drive, a locking center differential, high articulation suspension systems, Crawl Control, and the Multi-Terrain Select system. That rugged hardware supports the kind of durability many used buyers want from a large SUV.

For long-term ownership, you should still expect higher running costs than a more mainstream SUV, so condition and maintenance history matter a lot when you’re buying used.

What should I look for when buying a used 2017 Lexus LX?

At 63.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can confirm accident records, title status, and ownership history before you commit. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially on the suspension, drivetrain, and any off-road-related wear. Focus on overall condition and maintenance consistency, since this model’s appeal depends heavily on durability and preserved luxury feel.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Lexus LX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 35.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 105 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 63.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $48,142, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Lexus LX's resale value?

The current average of $48,377 sits slightly below last year's $48,452.

That small decline suggests the market has been fairly stable, which can help you estimate future value with more confidence. If you buy well and keep the SUV in strong condition, you’re less likely to face a sharp drop in value over a short ownership period. The LX’s combination of luxury and capability should continue to support demand among shoppers who want a durable full-size SUV.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Lexus LX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 35.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 63.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2017 if you want the LX’s core mix of luxury, durability, and off-road capability, especially if you find a clean example with strong maintenance records. If you’re more price-sensitive, it makes sense to compare nearby years and focus on the best-maintained listing rather than the newest badge alone.
