How much does the 2017 Land Rover Range Rover cost?

There are 832 listings available, which gives you a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2017 Land Rover Range Rover a good car?

Yes — the 2017 Land Rover Range Rover earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to very strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its exceptional off-road capability, powerful engine, and high-end interior features, and many also like the infotainment system and rear entertainment options. For you, that makes it a compelling fit if you want a luxury SUV that still emphasizes capability and comfort. With 37.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is also a decent amount of market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2017 Land Rover Range Rover reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback points to a vehicle that many owners find dependable in day-to-day use, especially when it comes to its strong performance and luxury experience. The same feedback also suggests it can be a trouble-free ownership experience for buyers who value its blend of capability and refinement. Even so, this is still a complex SUV, so your long-term ownership risk is best managed by prioritizing service history and avoiding neglected examples.

What should I look for when buying a used 2017 Land Rover Range Rover?

At 72.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can confirm accident records, title status, and service history before you go any further. A pre-purchase inspection should be a priority, especially on a vehicle with this level of complexity and potential maintenance exposure. Focus closely on overall condition, because a well-kept example is much more likely to reward you than one with incomplete records or signs of deferred care.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Land Rover Range Rover?

This is a selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy if you’re patient and willing to compare listings.

• Deal availability: 37.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 832 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.49% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 72.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $20,781, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Land Rover Range Rover's resale value?

The current average of $20,781 sits slightly below last year's $24,301.

That price movement suggests the market has softened, which can make the vehicle more attractive to used buyers today but may also limit upside for a future seller. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you can help protect your resale position. A clean history and solid maintenance records matter even more when the broader market is already trending lower.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Land Rover Range Rover or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 37.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 72.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.49% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of owner satisfaction, current pricing, and market availability, the 2017 is the primary year to target. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a lower entry price outweighs the 2017’s stronger market position and buyer appeal.
