Why it stands out
The 2017 Honda Odyssey continues Honda's legacy of delivering a roomy and functional minivan that caters to families. One of its primary strengths is the generous cabin space that comfortably seats up to seven passengers, alongside an abundance of cupholders and storage compartments designed specifically for family use. The powerful V6 engine ensures a smooth ride, while the vehicle's relatively light driving dynamics give it a sedan-like feel on the road. Additional features such as CabinTalk and CabinWatch enhance the driving experience, providing parents with the tools to monitor and communicate with rear-seat passengers effectively. Safety is a top priority, as evidenced by numerous awards from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) and high ratings from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). However, potential buyers should be aware that the Odyssey does lack all-wheel drive options and hybrid variants compared to some competitors, like the Toyota Sienna and Chrysler Pacifica. Overall, the Honda Odyssey remains an excellent choice for families seeking a versatile and reliable vehicle.

Great safety features. Extremely versatile interior space. Comfortable, quiet ride, but good acceleration when needed. Very similar to the vehicle I had before (Toyota Sienna).

I did a little research, and many say the 2017 model is most reliable. Also earlier year models and newer ones, but 2017 is considered by many to be a standout year for the Odyssey when it comes to reliability.

The van drove nicely, but theyre was more cosmetic wear & tear than we preferred...lots of deep scratches, etc. Including damage til the roof rails. We also dis not like that it was listed as CPO, but upon arrival we were told our would be another 1500-2K to actually have the CPO designation & warranty.
