How much does the 2017 Honda Accord cost?

Prices have softened 4.44% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,397 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing prices and conditions.

Is the 2017 Honda Accord a good car?

Yes — the 2017 Honda Accord earns a 4.52/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its smooth driving experience, great fuel economy, and stylish design, and many also value its comfortable interior. That mix fits well if you want a practical midsize sedan that still feels pleasant to live with every day. With 32.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2017 Honda Accord reliable?

Owners rate it 4.52/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Drivers repeatedly describe it as reliable, and the feedback also highlights dependable transportation and a trouble-free ownership experience. The combination of reliability and comfort matters if you want a used sedan you can count on for daily driving and longer-term use. For used buyers, that usually means lower ownership stress, though condition and maintenance history still matter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2017 Honda Accord?

At 48.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, especially if a listing looks unusually well priced. Put inspection priority on body condition, repair quality, and signs of inconsistent wear that could point to past damage. Focus on the overall condition of the car, not just the mileage or asking price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Honda Accord?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile opportunities.

• Deal availability: 32.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,397 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.44% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 48.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $14,982, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Honda Accord's resale value?

The current average of $15,294 sits slightly below last year's $16,004.

That softer pricing can help you buy with less downside risk if you plan to sell later. If the market stays steady, a lower entry price can make it easier to preserve value over your ownership period. Strong owner satisfaction also helps keep demand healthy when it is time to resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.52/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Honda Accord or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 32.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 48.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.44% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.52/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2016 if:

• At $14,417, the 2016 costs less than the current year's $15,294 average.
• It offers improved value with some worthwhile refinements.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $17,928, the 2018 costs more than the current year's $15,294 average.
• It brings a fresh redesign with a more modern feel.

The bottom line: The 2017 is the best fit if you want a balanced mix of price, owner satisfaction, and everyday usability. If you are especially price-sensitive, the 2016 is the better value play; if you want a newer-feeling Accord and can spend more, the 2018 is the upgrade path.
