Used 2017 Audi Q5 for Sale nearCharlotte, NC

How much does the 2017 Audi Q5 cost?

Prices have softened 9.21% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,562 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing prices and conditions.

Is the 2017 Audi Q5 a good car?

Yes — the 4.6/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise the Q5 for its fun driving experience, spacious interior, and refined comfort, and many also value its towing capacity and handling. That mix fits well if you want a luxury midsize SUV that emphasizes comfort, practicality, and a premium feel rather than off-road ambition. With 37.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful number of opportunities to shop selectively.

Is the 2017 Audi Q5 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback highlights a dependable-feeling ownership experience, with drivers repeatedly pointing to the Q5’s refined comfort and overall satisfaction over time. The combination of luxury and practicality also suggests that many owners feel confident living with it as a long-term vehicle. For used buyers, the main risk is that maintenance history matters, so a well-kept example is much safer than one with gaps in service.

What should I look for when buying a used 2017 Audi Q5?

At 67.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage. After that, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on maintenance records, suspension condition, and signs of wear that could affect ownership costs. Because this model has known problem areas, you should pay close attention to overall condition and service consistency rather than relying on appearance alone.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Audi Q5?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 37.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,562 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.21% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 67.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $12,307, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Audi Q5's resale value?

The current average of $12,311 sits slightly below last year's $13,560.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the Q5 more attractive to buyers today but less favorable for sellers trying to maximize return. If you plan to resell later, the current softness means your future value will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and maintenance history. Well-kept examples should still hold appeal because shoppers continue to value the Q5’s premium feel and practical layout.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Audi Q5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 37.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 67.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.21% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $15,463, the 2018 costs more than the current year's $12,311 average.
• It brings a full redesign with more room, newer technology, and improved refinement.

The 2017 is the better path if you want a lower entry price and strong owner satisfaction. If you can stretch your budget and want the newer redesign, the 2018 is the better secondary path for buyers who value updated tech and a more modern driving experience.
