Used 2017 Audi Q5 for Sale nearBaltimore, MD

How much does the 2017 Audi Q5 cost?

Prices have softened 8.72% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,554 listings available, which suggests you have a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2017 Audi Q5 a good car?

Yes — the 2017 Audi Q5 earns a 4.6/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its fun driving experience, spacious interior, and refined comfort, and many also value its towing capacity and handling. For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a luxury midsize SUV that leans toward comfort, practicality, and a premium feel rather than off-road ambition. With 35.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still room to shop selectively.

Is the 2017 Audi Q5 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that many drivers find dependable in daily use, with praise centered on its refined comfort and overall ownership experience. That said, the model’s premium positioning and ownership costs mean you should still pay close attention to maintenance records and condition. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is buying a neglected example rather than a well-kept one.

What should I look for when buying a used 2017 Audi Q5?

At 66.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can confirm accident records, title status, and service history before you get too far along. Then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially for signs of oil consumption, timing-chain concerns, panoramic sunroof issues, and suspension noise. Focus on overall maintenance quality and how the vehicle has aged, because condition matters a lot on a premium SUV like this.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Audi Q5?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find value.

• Deal availability: 35.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,554 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.72% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 66.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $12,308, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Audi Q5's resale value?

The current average of $12,337 sits slightly below last year's $13,515.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Q5 more approachable for you as a buyer today. For a future seller, it means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and maintenance history rather than just the badge alone. Well-kept examples should hold up better than neglected ones because shoppers in this segment tend to reward clean, documented vehicles.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Audi Q5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 35.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 66.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.72% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $15,483, the 2018 costs more than the current year's $12,337 average.
• It brings a full redesign with more room, newer technology, and improved refinement.

The bottom line: If you want the better value today, the 2017 is the smarter starting point because it offers strong owner satisfaction and a lower average price. If you can stretch your budget and want the newer redesign with more modern tech and space, the 2018 is the better upgrade path. For price-sensitive buyers, the 2017 is the more compelling buy; for shoppers prioritizing the newest package, the 2018 deserves a look.
