Used 2017 Audi A7 for Sale near Michigan

Is the 2017 Audi A7 a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2017 Audi A7, and it fits a luxury fastback that blends sporty styling with everyday practicality. The A7’s appeal comes from its coupe-like shape, upscale interior, and useful hatchback layout, while still giving you more versatility than a two-door coupe. It was also positioned as a more affordable used luxury buy than many shoppers might expect for this class. With 33.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful number of opportunities to shop selectively.

Is the 2017 Audi A7 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2017 Audi A7’s appeal is reinforced by its standard all-wheel drive, eight-speed automatic transmission, and well-equipped luxury cabin. It also benefits from the generation’s mid-cycle updates, including refreshed styling and newer infotainment hardware, which can make it feel more modern than many used luxury alternatives. For long-term ownership, your biggest risk is buying a neglected example, so condition and maintenance history matter a lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2017 Audi A7?

At 64.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage affected the structure, airbags, or major body panels. Then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on the drivetrain, electronics, suspension, and signs of uneven wear, since a luxury fastback like this can be expensive to sort out after the fact. Pay close attention to overall condition, because the right used A7 should feel well cared for inside and out.

Should I buy a 2017 Audi A7 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 64.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2017 Audi A7 is the right path if you want the blend of style, practicality, and upscale features that defines this generation, especially if you value its refreshed design and strong equipment list. If you’re more price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but you should still focus first on condition, accident history, and whether the specific car has been maintained well.
