How much does the 2016 Nissan Titan cost?

Prices have softened 9.07% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 776 listings available, which gives you a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2016 Nissan Titan a good car?

With a user rating of 3.3/5, the 2016 Nissan Titan looks like a solid but selective buy rather than a universal pick. It stands out for its standard V8 power, more upscale feel than many trucks of its era, and useful everyday features like Bluetooth phone connectivity, air conditioning, and a back-up camera. It also brings off-road ability and a comfortable interior, which makes it appealing if you want a full-size truck that feels more versatile than a basic workhorse.

The market shows 31.7% of listings as good or great deals, so you have room to shop carefully and focus on the right example.

Is the 2016 Nissan Titan reliable?

The 2016 Nissan Titan has a reputation for reliability, which strengthens its case as a used truck. Its appeal is also tied to practical equipment and everyday usability, so you are not just buying power — you are buying a truck that was designed to be easy to live with.

For used buyers, long-term ownership risk is most manageable when you choose a well-maintained truck with clean history and no signs of hard use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2016 Nissan Titan?

At 65.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection to check for prior damage, repair quality, and signs of heavy use. Focus closely on overall condition, since a truck with a strong feature set can still be a poor buy if it has been worked hard or repaired poorly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Nissan Titan?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 31.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 776 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.07% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 65.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $20,108, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Nissan Titan's resale value?

The current average of $20,108 sits slightly below last year's $22,115.

That softer pricing suggests the Titan has become more accessible for used buyers, but it also means future resale gains may be limited if the market stays soft. If you buy well now, you can reduce your exposure to depreciation, especially by targeting a clean truck with strong history and desirable equipment. For a future seller, condition and documentation will matter more than simply owning the model.

Should I buy a 2016 Nissan Titan or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 31.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 65.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.07% compared with last year.

Consider the 2017 if:

• At $19,356, the 2017 costs less than the current year's $20,108 average.
• It brings a redesigned, more serious full-size truck feel.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger value proposition in the current market, the 2016 is worth a close look, especially if you find a clean, well-priced example. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2017 is the better secondary path.
