Used 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC for Sale near Ohio

How much does the 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC cost?

Prices have softened 8.99% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 548 listings available, which suggests a solid amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction, and the overview frames this model as a premium compact SUV that emphasizes comfort, refinement, and everyday usefulness. It also highlights a straightforward lineup with versions aimed at efficiency and performance, so you can match the vehicle to how you plan to use it. The market shows 34.1% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview also notes that this model does not have a standout reliability reputation and mentions suspension, electrical, piston, and cylinder concerns on some examples. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk can be meaningful if you skip a careful inspection and history check.

What should I look for when buying a used 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC?

At 64.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any reported damage was repaired properly. Put inspection priority on suspension, electrical systems, and engine condition, since those are the areas highlighted in the overview. Focus on overall maintenance records and visible wear, because condition matters a lot on a luxury SUV like this.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on the right listing.

• Deal availability: 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 548 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.99% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 64.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $13,190, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC's resale value?

The current average of $13,190 sits slightly below last year's $14,492.

That price movement suggests the model has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help you if you buy at the right number. If you keep the vehicle in strong condition and maintain it well, you may be better positioned to limit future value loss. A lower entry price can also make it easier to stay ahead of depreciation if you plan to resell in a few years.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 64.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.99% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2017 if:

• At $15,580, the 2017 costs more than the current year's $13,190 average.
• It is framed as a stronger fit if you want a luxury crossover with a performance edge.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2016 if your priority is value, because the lower average price and softer market make it the more budget-friendly path. If you want a newer-year alternative and are willing to pay more for a different driving character, the 2017 is the secondary path to consider.
