Should I buy a 2016 Lexus RC or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 31.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 53.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices are up 1.08% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 4.71/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2016 is a solid choice if you want a well-liked version of the RC and you’re willing to shop carefully for condition and history. If your priority is getting the lowest possible entry price, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2016 stands out as a balanced option when you want strong owner satisfaction and a market that still offers some deal potential.
