Used 2016 Lexus GX for Sale nearSan Antonio, TX

How much does the 2016 Lexus GX cost?

Prices have softened 4.91% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 437 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2016 Lexus GX a good car?

Yes — the 2016 Lexus GX earns a 4.5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners commonly praise its luxurious features, spacious interior, and overall reliability, and many also like its power, all-wheel-drive capability, and off-road readiness. For you, that makes it a good fit if you want a luxury SUV with real trail ability and a more upscale cabin than many rugged competitors. With 37.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2016 Lexus GX reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The review summary repeatedly points to reliability, and owners also describe it as dependable and well-suited to long-term use. That matters if you want a used SUV you can count on, especially one built around durability and all-wheel-drive capability. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the core mechanical reputation and more about finding a well-kept example with clean history and consistent maintenance.

What should I look for when buying a used 2016 Lexus GX?

At 53.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from ones with prior damage. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if you plan to use the GX for family hauling or off-road driving. Focus on overall condition, signs of past repairs, and whether the cabin, cargo area, and electronics have held up as expected.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Lexus GX?

This is a moderate market, so you can buy now if the right listing appears, but it still pays to be selective.

• Deal availability: 37.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 437 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.91% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 53.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $23,650, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Lexus GX's resale value?

The current average of $23,814 sits slightly below last year's $25,044.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. If you plan to resell later, the GX's value will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and whether you choose a clean, well-maintained example. A model with strong owner satisfaction can still attract steady demand, especially among shoppers who want a durable luxury SUV with real capability.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Lexus GX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 37.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 53.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.91% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2016 is a solid choice if you want the GX's blend of luxury, durability, and off-road capability at a price that has eased from last year. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2016 remains the better path when you want a well-liked, capable SUV and can verify a clean, well-kept example.
