Is the 2016 Lexus GS a good car?

That kind of feedback can be a useful sign if you want a used luxury sedan that has resonated well with drivers. 29.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so there are still opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2016 Lexus GS reliable?

For used buyers, that points to lower perceived ownership risk, but you should still verify maintenance history and overall condition before committing.

What should I look for when buying a used 2016 Lexus GS?

At 49.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report on any candidate you’re serious about and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection. Focus on body condition, signs of prior repair, and whether the car’s wear matches its mileage and asking price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Lexus GS?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient and compare listings closely.

• Deal availability: 29.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 223 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 49.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $20,529, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Lexus GS's resale value?

The current average of $21,352 sits slightly above last year's $21,287.

That small increase suggests the market has remained fairly stable, which can help support resale confidence if you buy at the right price. For a future seller, steady pricing is usually better than a sharp drop because it points to consistent demand and less pressure to discount heavily later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Lexus GS or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 29.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 49.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest balance of stable pricing and positive owner feedback, the 2016 is a sensible place to focus. If you’re especially price-sensitive, compare it against nearby years and target the listings that land near the low end of the range or show up as good or great deals.
