Is the 2016 Ford Fusion Hybrid a good car?

With no expert test-drive score provided here, you should lean on the market data and the condition of individual listings to judge value. The pricing spread is fairly tight, and the share of good or great deals suggests you can still find worthwhile options if you shop carefully. The 33.3% good-or-great-deals rate also shows there is meaningful value in the market right now.

What should I look for when buying a used 2016 Ford Fusion Hybrid?

At 62.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any reported damage was repaired properly. Then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially for signs of uneven panel gaps, paint mismatch, or wear that does not match the mileage. Focus on overall condition and documentation, since the best examples are likely to stand out quickly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Ford Fusion Hybrid?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market: there is enough inventory to shop around, but the best-priced examples may move quickly.

• Deal availability: 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 174 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 1.24% year-over-year.
• Clean inventory: 62.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $8,451, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Ford Fusion Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $9,978 sits slightly above last year's $9,856.

That modest increase suggests the market has held up reasonably well for this model year. If you buy well and keep the car in strong condition, you should have a fair shot at preserving value. For a future seller, the current pricing trend points to steady demand rather than a sharp drop-off.

Should I buy a 2016 Ford Fusion Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 62.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices are up 1.24% year-over-year.

The bottom line: The 2016 is a sensible choice if you want a model year with active inventory and a market that still supports solid resale value. If your priority is stretching your budget, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the cleanest, best-documented example rather than chasing the newest badge alone.
