Used 2016 Chrysler 300 for Sale nearRichmond, VA

How much does the 2016 Chrysler 300 cost?

Prices have softened 2.48% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 457 listings available, which gives you a moderate amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2016 Chrysler 300 a good car?

Yes — the 2016 Chrysler 300 earns a 4.6/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners repeatedly praise its smooth ride, comfort, and powerful performance, and many also like the luxury feel and features you get for the price. It fits well if you want a roomy, comfortable, rear-drive sedan with a traditional full-size presence. With 26.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2016 Chrysler 300 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback also points to a durable, dependable character, with many buyers valuing the car’s long-running reputation for durability. That said, some owners mention higher maintenance costs and minor quality issues, so a well-kept example matters more than a neglected one. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is paying for deferred maintenance that can turn a comfortable sedan into an expensive one.

What should I look for when buying a used 2016 Chrysler 300?

At 56.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any reported damage was repaired properly. Put inspection priority on body alignment, panel gaps, warning lights, and signs of uneven tire wear or suspension issues. Because some owners mention minor quality issues and higher maintenance costs, condition matters a lot more than mileage alone.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Chrysler 300?

• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.48% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $12,213, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Chrysler 300's resale value?

The current average of $12,703 sits slightly below last year's $13,026.

That softer pricing suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy at a better entry point today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and maintenance history rather than model-year age alone. Well-kept examples should hold up better than neglected ones because shoppers still respond to the car’s comfort, size, and upscale feel.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Chrysler 300 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 26.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 56.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.48% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2017 if:

• At $13,980, the 2017 costs more than the current year's $12,703 average.
• It adds updated appearance packages and a faster Uconnect system.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2016 if you want the better value and are willing to inspect carefully for condition and history. If you want a newer-feeling cabin and can stretch your budget, the 2017 is the cleaner upgrade path; if price matters most, the 2016 is the smarter buy.
