What is the 2016 Chrysler 300's resale value?

The current average of $12,714 sits slightly below last year's $13,093.

That softer pricing suggests the model has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help future sellers if they buy at the right price. Because the market is still active and the car has a loyal following, well-kept examples should remain easier to move than neglected ones. Strong condition and clean history will matter most if you want to protect your resale position.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Chrysler 300 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 25.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 55.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.89% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2017 if:

• At $14,030, the 2017 costs more than the current year's $12,714 average.
• It adds a faster Uconnect system with new connectivity features.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2016 is the stronger starting point because it combines a lower average price with solid owner satisfaction. If you are willing to pay more for a newer model year and slightly updated tech, the 2017 is the better secondary path.
