How much does the 2016 Chrysler 300 cost?

Is the 2016 Chrysler 300 a good car?

Yes — the 4.6/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners repeatedly praise the smooth ride, comfort, and powerful performance, and they also like the luxury feel and features for the price. For you, that makes this a strong fit if you want a roomy, comfortable full-size sedan with a traditional rear-drive character and upscale appeal. With 25.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2016 Chrysler 300 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience for many drivers, with praise centered on long-term comfort and confidence in the car’s overall character. At the same time, some owners mention higher maintenance costs and minor quality issues, so a well-kept example matters. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is paying for neglected maintenance or unresolved wear items.

What should I look for when buying a used 2016 Chrysler 300?

At 55.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage or repeated claims. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially for signs of alignment issues, dashboard alerts, or deferred maintenance. Focus on overall condition and service history, because a neglected full-size sedan can become expensive to own.

What is the 2016 Chrysler 300's resale value?

The current average of $12,574 sits slightly below last year's $12,799.

That softer pricing suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy at a better entry point today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend more on condition, mileage, and maintenance history than on broad market momentum. If you keep the car clean and well documented, you should be in a better position to hold value than a neglected example.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Chrysler 300 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 25.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 55.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.76% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2017 if:

• At $13,919, the 2017 costs more than the current year's $12,574 average.
• It adds faster Uconnect and updated appearance packages.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2016 is the stronger starting point because it combines a lower average price with solid owner satisfaction. If you are willing to pay more for a slightly newer example with updated infotainment and styling touches, the 2017 is the better secondary path.
