Why it stands out
The 2016 Chevrolet Equinox is a compelling compact crossover SUV, combining style, functionality, and a comfortable ride. Its spacious interior is one of its most appealing traits, making it a great choice for families and individuals alike. Owners frequently praise the vehicle for its user-friendly features like remote start and a backup camera. However, some drivers have noted a lack of power in the engine, particularly when tackling hilly terrains. While the second-generation models have had reliability issues concerning their engines, the 2016 variant has managed to provide decent reliability ratings with many finding it to be a cost-effective solution in the used car market.

I have only had this vehicle for a week. I’ve driven it 4 times with less than 15 miles each time, except for the 1 1/2 hour drive home from the dealership after purchasing it. I am very happy with it so far, as I have previously owned a Chevy Equinox but it was a 2011. The 2016 model has many new features which I am super excited about! The price was higher than I would have liked to pay but everything is with the way the economy is now! All in all, it’s a great vehicle, and I recommend this particular year, for it’s rated one of the better years with the least amount of complaints of expensive issues!
