Yes — 4.75/5 is a strong user rating, and owners consistently praise the Enclave for its comfort, spacious interior, smooth ride, and luxury touches like leather seats. The overview also points to its family-focused three-row layout and car-like driving dynamics, which make it appealing if you want space without the feel of a truck-based SUV. Is the 2016 Buick Enclave reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also emphasizes reliable-feeling comfort, a roomy cabin, and a vehicle that many drivers feel stands out in its class. For used buyers, that kind of satisfaction can help reduce long-term ownership risk, especially if you verify maintenance history and overall condition before you buy.

What should I look for when buying a used 2016 Buick Enclave?

At 60.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from those with prior damage. Put a pre-purchase inspection at the top of your checklist, with extra attention to body condition, panel alignment, and signs of past repairs. Since this model is valued for comfort and family use, make sure the cabin, seats, and everyday wear items match the seller’s description.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Buick Enclave?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 31.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 827 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.55% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 60.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $10,600, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Buick Enclave's resale value?

The current average of $10,600 sits slightly below last year's $11,718.

That price movement suggests the market has softened, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend more heavily on condition, mileage, and documentation than on broad market momentum alone. Well-kept examples should still attract attention because the Enclave’s comfort-focused reputation remains a selling point.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Buick Enclave or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 31.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 60.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.55% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2016 is the better pick if you want a comfortable, well-liked, family-friendly SUV and you can verify that the specific vehicle has a clean history and solid condition. If your priority is stretching your budget as far as possible, a nearby year with a lower asking price may be worth comparing, but the 2016 stands out as a balanced choice when you want a strong mix of value, comfort, and buyer appeal.
