What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Volvo XC60?

At 67.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage or repeated claims. After that, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on body condition, signs of repair, and how well the interior and electronics have held up. If you’re comparing multiple listings, put the cleanest, best-documented example at the top of your list even if it costs a bit more.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Volvo XC60?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find value.

• Deal availability: 34.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 466 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.15% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 67.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $9,851, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Volvo XC60's resale value?

The current average of $9,851 sits slightly below last year's $10,842.

That tells you the market has moved lower, which can help you buy more affordably now but may also limit short-term appreciation if you plan to resell soon. If you’re thinking about future resale, the best strategy is to choose a well-kept example with clean history and strong documentation, because those cars tend to hold buyer interest better than rougher listings. A lower entry price can also help cushion depreciation if you keep the vehicle for several years.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Volvo XC60 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 34.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 67.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.15% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2015 is a smart primary choice if you want the best mix of price relief, owner satisfaction, and available inventory in this model-year window. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years, but the 2015 already gives you a compelling balance of value and buyer confidence.
