How much does the 2015 Toyota Highlander cost?

Prices have softened 3.19% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,447 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing prices and trims.

Is the 2015 Toyota Highlander a good car?

Yes — the 2015 Toyota Highlander earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners commonly praise its comfort, spaciousness, and reliability, and many say the back seats are roomy and the driving experience feels more luxurious than expected. That fits well if you want a practical, comfort-focused midsize SUV for family use rather than something sporty. With 34.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2015 Toyota Highlander reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The review summary also emphasizes reliability, with owners describing it as dependable and comfortable for everyday use. That kind of feedback matters if you want a used SUV you can count on for family duty and regular commuting. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the model’s reputation and more about finding one that has been well maintained and not worn down by prior use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Toyota Highlander?

At 55.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

Start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from those with accident records. Then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on the body, suspension, and interior condition, since those areas can reveal how carefully the SUV was treated. You should also focus on signs of wear that matter in a family vehicle, such as seat condition, electronics, and evidence of heavy daily use.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Toyota Highlander?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,447 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.19% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 55.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $16,483, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Toyota Highlander's resale value?

The current average of $16,655 sits slightly below last year's $17,204.

That softer pricing suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy more carefully now but may also limit upside if you plan to sell soon. If you own one for the long haul, the current trend implies resale value is being supported more by condition and history than by broad price appreciation. Well-kept examples should still hold appeal because shoppers continue to value this model year’s comfort and family-friendly reputation.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Toyota Highlander or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 55.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.19% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2014 if:

• At $15,516, the 2014 costs less than the current year's $16,655 average.
• It feels more engaging than the stereotype suggests.

The bottom line: Choose the 2015 if you want the stronger current-market balance of price, satisfaction, and availability. If you are especially price-sensitive, the 2014 is the better value play because it costs less while still delivering the Highlander’s core family-friendly strengths.
