How much does the 2015 Toyota Corolla cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

With 1,696 listings available, you have a fairly broad set of choices to compare across price, mileage, and condition.

Is the 2015 Toyota Corolla a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction, and the expert rating is 6.17/10. The standout strength is Cost effectiveness at 10/10.

The 2015 Corolla is framed as reliable and sensible transportation that still adds a bit of style, which makes it appealing if you want an easygoing daily driver that does its job well. It is also described as roomy and comfortable inside, with modern features that help it feel more complete than a bare-bones commuter.

At the same time, the model is not positioned around excitement, and its biggest weakness is that it does not deliver much surprise or delight. Even so, the market still shows 28.4% of listings as good or great deals, which suggests there are worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2015 Toyota Corolla reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Corolla is described as reliable and dependable over time, and the expert commentary also emphasizes that it is cheap to own. Its 1.8-liter engine is described as refined and quiet, and the car is expected to prove inexpensive to keep on the road.

You also get free scheduled maintenance for the first 2 years or 25,000 miles of ownership, which helps reduce early ownership costs. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is making sure prior wear and maintenance history are clean, since condition will matter more than the model’s basic reputation.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Toyota Corolla?

At 46.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has higher mileage or visible cosmetic wear. Focus on how well the car has been maintained, because the Corolla’s value proposition depends heavily on condition and ownership history. If you are comparing multiple listings, put the cleanest example ahead of the cheapest one.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base L includes LED headlights, air conditioning, power windows, locks and mirrors, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, a height-adjustable driver’s seat and Bluetooth connectivity with a USB 2.0 port. The LE adds a CVT, larger 16-inch wheels, heated side mirrors, automatic climate control, cruise control, remote keyless entry and a 6-speaker sound system with a 6-inch touchscreen display, Bluetooth audio streaming and a reversing camera. The LE Eco adds a retuned engine and better fuel economy, while the S adds a sportier look and feel with unique hubcaps, integrated-turn-signal mirrors, a rear spoiler, sportier front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with paddle shifters, a Sport driving mode and revised dashboard trim.
• Powertrain: A 1.8-liter 4-cylinder engine powers all versions, and it makes 132 hp in all but the LE Eco trim. The engine is described as refined and quiet, and the LE Eco is tuned for better fuel economy with 8 extra horsepower for a total of 140.
• Safety package: A reversing camera is included for the LE trim level and above. The car does not offer blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert, active cruise control with forward-collision warning or automatic braking.
• Infotainment: The Corolla offers Bluetooth connectivity as standard equipment for all models. To get Toyota’s Entune App Suite infotainment system, the Corolla LE with the Plus Package is the minimum requirement. The system uses a 6.1-inch touchscreen and includes large menu buttons plus physical volume and tuning knobs.
• Fuel efficiency: The Corolla is described as fuel efficient, and the EPA estimates for the Corolla S test car were 28 mpg in the city and 37 mpg on the highway. The LE Eco is also described as getting better fuel economy than the standard setup.

Which 2015 Toyota Corolla trim should I buy?

The 2015 Toyota Corolla is offered in 4 trim levels: L, LE, LE Eco, S.

Here's the short version:

• L: This is the simplest choice, and it still gives you the core Corolla essentials, including LED headlights, Bluetooth, power accessories and a height-adjustable driver’s seat. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost path into the model and do not need extra convenience features.
• LE: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds the CVT, automatic climate control, cruise control, remote keyless entry, a touchscreen audio system and a reversing camera. If you want the most balanced mix of comfort and convenience, this is the trim to target.
• LE Eco: Choose this if fuel economy matters more to you than extra equipment. It builds on the LE’s equipment while adding a retuned engine and efficiency-focused hardware.
• S: This is the style-and-feel choice, with sportier seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, paddle shifters, a Sport driving mode and more aggressive exterior details. It suits you best if you want the Corolla with the most personality.

The reversing camera is included on the LE trim level and above, so base-trim shoppers should factor that into their comparison.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Toyota Corolla?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it pays to compare listings carefully and move quickly on the right car.

• Deal availability: 28.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,696 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 46.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $11,386, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Toyota Corolla's resale value?

The current average of $11,898 sits slightly above last year's $11,816.

That small increase suggests the Corolla has held its value fairly well rather than swinging sharply in either direction. For a future seller, that kind of stability is helpful because it points to steady buyer interest and a predictable pricing environment.

The Corolla’s practical reputation and low ownership costs support that demand, especially among shoppers looking for a dependable compact car. If you keep the car clean, well maintained and accident-free, you should be in a stronger position when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2015 Toyota Corolla safe?

The 2015 Corolla earns five-star ratings from NHTSA.

It earns a 4/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota does not include any of the newer active safety systems here, so you do not get blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert, active cruise control with forward-collision warning or automatic braking. A reversing camera is the main safety convenience feature, and it is included on the LE trim level and above.

The expert safety commentary also notes that the 2015 Corolla had not yet been officially rated by IIHS at the time, though the closely related 2014 model earned Good ratings in most tests and Marginal in the small overlap frontal-impact test. That caveat is worth keeping in mind if safety is a top priority.

Should I buy a 2015 Toyota Corolla or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 28.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 46.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It combines reliable, sensible transportation with a bit of style and strong cost effectiveness.

Consider the 2014 if:

• At $11,150, the 2014 costs less than the current year's $11,898 average.
• It emphasizes efficient, dependable daily driving with a fresh-generation feel.

Consider the 2016 if:

• At $12,910, the 2016 costs more than the current year's $11,898 average.
• It leans harder into fuel economy and value while adding a more polished package.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price stability, strong owner satisfaction and low running costs, the 2015 is the primary year to target. If your budget is tighter, the 2014 is the better price-first alternative, while the 2016 makes sense if you are willing to pay more for a newer-feeling value proposition.
