How much does the 2015 Toyota Corolla cost?

Prices are up 2.75% year-over-year — a sign of continued demand for this model year.

There are 1,707 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of used Corollas to compare.

Is the 2015 Toyota Corolla a good car?

Yes — the 2015 Toyota Corolla earns a 5/5 user rating and a 6.2/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Cost effectiveness at 10/10. It is framed as a dependable, sensible compact car that still tries to make everyday driving a little more enjoyable, with a stylish look and a broader appeal than pure transportation alone. The tradeoff is that it does not aim to be especially surprising or emotionally engaging, so it fits you best if you value straightforward usefulness first. Good and great deals make up 30.3% of listings, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities in the market.

Is the 2015 Toyota Corolla reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The Corolla is described as reliable and dependable over time, and the expert review also says both Consumer Reports and J.D. Power expect it to prove reliable and dependable. Its 1.8-liter engine is described as refined and quiet, and the car is positioned as cheap to own with good gas mileage. You also get free scheduled maintenance for the first 2 years or 25,000 miles of ownership. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a neglected example may erase some of the Corolla’s ownership-cost advantage.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Toyota Corolla?

At 46% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a careful inspection of bodywork, alignment, and signs of prior repair. Focus on condition and maintenance records, since the Corolla’s appeal depends heavily on dependable, low-cost ownership. If you are comparing multiple listings, give extra weight to cars with cleaner histories and evidence of consistent upkeep.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Four different trim levels are available, including the basic L, the popular LE, the thrifty LE Eco and the sporty S. All versions include LED headlights, air conditioning, power windows, locks and mirrors, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, a height-adjustable driver’s seat and Bluetooth connectivity with a USB 2.0 port. The LE adds a reversing camera, while the S brings a sportier look and feel with unique hubcaps, side mirrors with integrated turn signals, a rear spoiler, sportier front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with paddle shifters, a Sport driving mode and revised dashboard trim.
• Powertrain: A 1.8-liter 4-cylinder engine powers all versions of the Corolla, and in all but the LE Eco trim, it makes 132 hp. The LE Eco adds a retuned engine that makes 8 extra horsepower for a total of 140 and gets better fuel economy at the same time.
• Safety package: Toyota doesn’t offer any newfangled active safety systems in the Corolla. There is no blind-spot monitoring system, no lane-departure warning system, no rear cross-traffic alert system, no active cruise control system with forward-collision warning and no automatic braking function. A reversing camera is included for the LE trim level and above.
• Infotainment: Bluetooth connectivity is standard equipment for all models. To get Toyota’s Entune App Suite infotainment system, the Corolla LE with the Plus Package is the minimum requirement. The touchscreen is 6.1-inch, and the system includes actual volume and tuning knobs.
• Fuel efficiency: The EPA estimates that the Corolla should have returned 28 mpg in the city and 37 mpg on the highway.

Which 2015 Toyota Corolla trim should I buy?

The 2015 Toyota Corolla is offered in 4 trim levels: L, LE, LE Eco and S.

Here's the short version:

• L: This is the simplest way into the Corolla lineup, and it still includes the core equipment you need, including LED headlights, air conditioning, power windows, locks and mirrors, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, a height-adjustable driver’s seat and Bluetooth connectivity with a USB 2.0 port.
• LE: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds the reversing camera, a more efficient CVT, larger 16-inch wheels, heated side mirrors, automatic climate control, cruise control, remote keyless entry and a 6-speaker sound system with a 6-inch touchscreen display, Bluetooth audio streaming and a reversing camera.
• LE Eco: Choose this if you want the Corolla’s efficiency focus taken further. It adds a retuned engine with 140 horsepower and better fuel economy, plus aerodynamic and rolling-resistance tweaks.
• S: This is the trim for you if you want the Corolla to feel a little more expressive. It adds a sportier appearance and cabin treatment, paddle shifters and a Sport driving mode, with the Plus Package bringing tighter suspension and rear disc brakes.

A reversing camera is included for the LE trim level and above.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Toyota Corolla?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on the right car.

• Deal availability: 30.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,707 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 2.75% year-over-year.
• Clean inventory: 46.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $11,384, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Toyota Corolla's resale value?

The current average of $11,845 sits slightly above last year's $11,528.

That upward move suggests the Corolla has held enough demand to support pricing rather than soften it. For a future seller, that is a useful sign that a clean, well-kept example should remain easy to market. The Corolla’s reputation for low ownership costs and dependable use helps reinforce that demand.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2015 Toyota Corolla safe?

The 2015 Corolla earns five-star ratings from NHTSA. It earns a 4/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota doesn’t offer any newfangled active safety systems in the Corolla. There is no blind-spot monitoring system, no lane-departure warning system, no rear cross-traffic alert system, no active cruise control system with forward-collision warning and no automatic braking function. A reversing camera is about as sophisticated as it gets, and that's included for the LE trim level and above. The review also notes that the 2015 Corolla had not been officially rated by IIHS at the time, though the essentially identical 2014 Corolla earned a Good rating in all assessments except the small overlap frontal-impact test, where it rated Marginal.

Should I buy a 2015 Toyota Corolla or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 30.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 46% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices are up 2.75% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It balances dependable, sensible transportation with a touch of style and modest driving enjoyment.

Consider the 2014 if:

• At $11,154, the 2014 costs less than the current year's $11,845 average.
• It emphasizes efficient, dependable daily driving and long-term use.

Consider the 2016 if:

• At $12,778, the 2016 costs more than the current year's $11,845 average.
• It adds a polished look and strong value focus in a more competitive small-car market.

The bottom line: If you want the best mix of price, availability, and proven ownership appeal, the 2015 is the primary target. If you are especially price-sensitive, the 2014 is worth a look; if you want to spend more for a newer-feeling value play, the 2016 is the alternative to compare.

How does the 2015 Toyota Corolla compare to the 2015 Honda Civic?

Our experts score the 2015 Toyota Corolla 6.2/10 and the 2015 Honda Civic 8.7/10. The Corolla leans harder into cost effectiveness and straightforward dependability, while the Civic brings a stronger overall expert score and more power. You get similar city fuel economy, but the Corolla is cheaper on the used market and has a larger pool of listings. If you want the more engaging car, the Civic is the stronger pick; if you want lower purchase cost and a simpler ownership story, the Corolla makes sense.
